Welcome to my Bedroom

Having an eye for design, I have always loved decorating spaces and my bedroom is certainly no exception. You could say I’m pretty particular about the atheistic that I aim to achieve and I think I’ve finally made it. With a lot of colour testing and product searching, I found a look that I absolutely love and I couldn’t be more excited to show you!!

I believe that a persons bedroom can say a lot about their personality and I love the fact that so many people have walked into my room and said, “this is so you!!” Whether it shows of my creative side or my bubbly personality I’m really not sure, but its a complement nonetheless.

Mint is for sure the predominant colour within my room but I love mixing it up with shades of peach and other tones of blue. I love the clean and crisp feel that a white brings to a room but it isn’t complete without a splash of colour. One of my favourite objects in my room is my copper beside lamp. I think it gives a classy feel to the room which was something that it originally lacked.

To anyone who knows me in slightest, you’d know how much the pink rash vest on my wall means to me. My favourite professional surfer, Sally Fitzgibbons, surfed wearing it in comp and I was lucky enough to win it!! Even though hot pink certainly isn’t colour I would choose, somehow it fits right in and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My desk area is something I’m still working on as I’d love to add a mood board above it reflecting all the things I love. I’m sure I’ll be hanging to show it off in a blog post when that plan comes to life..

Without a doubt, my favourite part about my room is the amazing Clare O’Donoghue painting that takes centre stage on my wall. It speaks for itself really.. I mean, HOW AMAZING IS IT?!? When I received this painting for my 18th birthday, it was the missing piece of the puzzle that I never knew I needed and I absolutely adore it!! Oh and I also love my candles and canisters..

Photo credit goes out to Sophie Symes, your a superstar!! Thanks for featuring me and my room in your magazine project xx

Hope you enjoyed the tour!!
