Two friends of mine have set off on a 4 month trip to Europe today and it’s defiantly got me reminiscing on my trip to Europe a few years back. It’s amazing how different things really are in a place that has so much more history than anywhere in Australia. It makes you realise just how modern Australia really is when you go to a city like Paris. Almost every building is an old style construction with so much detail and elegance about it, making it truly beautiful.
For me, my favourite part about Paris what the scenery. Everywhere you look theres a beautiful building or a river or a park or gorgeous shop fronts that really catch your eye. The imagery this city has to offer is incredible.
Seeing the Eiffel Tower and the Arc De Triomphe was a moment of pure amazement. Kind of like being starstruck. They were incredible in real life and I started to understand the fascination people have with the Eiffel Tower. You always hear of people saying how small and un impressive the statue of liberty is and kind of assumed that these monuments would be the same. But no. I was very very wrong. I cannot physically describe just how big they both were and to this day is still gives me goosebumps.
