Acai bowls seem to be such a trend at the moment and I can see why. They are soooo delish and are super good for you!! So why wouldn’t you start your morning with one?!? I love that every cafe that serves one does it slightly differently or when making them yourself, everyone has their own special ingredients. The topping options are endless and I find it really interesting to see what people choose to add.
I like to keep it super simple so heres a super easy recipe for you try at home:
1 serving of frozen Acai
1/2 a banana
1/2 cup of coconut milk
Dash of honey
Blend all the ingredients together in a blender. Sometimes you may need to add a little more coconut milk just to get it all moving.
Chunky granola (homemade or pre made)
1/2 a banana (or strawberries or kiwi or mango or raspberries or whatever you want!!)
You can decorate your bowl however you like!! Get creative people!!
